Independent musicians pour their heart, soul, time and money into creating something that stirs us. They're all over the local scene– in bars and clubs, at festivals and farmer's markets –putting in work doing something they love. They offer their whole being, hoping someone will enjoy it. And it's good that they do, because we do.
Independent musicians are our main focus. Without them, we would literally have to offer. Since there is no competition from corporate record labels, your music gets heard more often. It's like putting your demo on mass blast.

Catching a break ususally means signing away your independence and control. Not here. Musicians remain masters of their craft, dropping new tunes into whichever genre it fits and doing so whenever it suits them.
No need to go to another website to buy them, either. Aisle 45 has its own music store. Musicians get $1.00 USD per song sold. We don't take a cut from song sales. How sweet is that?

Piloting the powerhouses of creativity is a colaborative effort best done by those who are moved by the very thing they consume. There are many more musicians making music than the record executives have time to shuffle through.
This is where you, the audience, comes in. You are the sole guiding force behind all content on Aisle 45. Based on votes, the music stream becomes a dynamic soundscape, fashioned to fit modern times and reflecting back on past times.
It comes to you free, courtesy of our sponsors. All you have to do is listen. But that's not all you can do. Not feeling it? Skip it. Looking for a particular band, musician or lyrics? Search it. Did a shiny object catch your eye? Share it.

Of course, not everything you hear on here is a hit, so your vote is your voice. Tracks not meeting listener standards in a timely fashion are removed from the stream. Everyone is encouraged to use the Skip option first, unless the track is absolute garbage.
What sounds good is relative to the individual. You might like it, but someone else might not. With this in mind, there is a chance that a song you like might not make the cut, and vise versa. But don't stress. If it's in your Favorites, there it stays. It is also still accessible through search and can be added to your Favorites from there.
Your Favorites is where songs can be purchased. Add them to your cart and support your favorite musicians. The more this happens, the more they have to make new content. All purchases go directly to the Musician(s).
This is a group effort and it can be made into a monster if we all pull together as a team.
Small, local businesses are the mainstays of our economy. They stand as testaments to the value of hard work and dedication. People full of American Spirit and ‘git-r-dun’ attitude, they have the gumption to be their own boss and toil towards success.
With success comes the ability to help others in their quest to do the same. That feels nice. Doesn't hurt to get recognized for it, either. Business is business after all, and who couldn't use more of that?!
It's been said that good advertising doesn't cost, it pays. Truth. But should it require a ton of money to get it? We think not. Here you'll find very affordable ad space aimed at your target demographic. If your business has anything to do with music, consider putting a few ducats down on our platform.
